Sara Leport BA (hons), LRSM arrived in London in 2000, after graduating from the University of Birmingham with an honours degree in English and Music. Since then she has been resident pianist at two of the West End's most prestigious five star hotels: Le Meridian Waldorf, Aldwych and Le Meridien Piccadilly. During her residency in the Oak Room Lounge at the Meridien Piccadilly, both the The Evening Standard and the Tea Council of Great Britain voted the venue one of London's top five tea rooms, each mentioning the quality of the music as one of their deciding factors.

With her mastery of broad range of styles, from classical piano repertoire through cocktail; favourites to pop tunes, Sara has performed in many different venues. In Birmingham Sara played for clients in the NEC, the Botanical Gardens, the CBSO Centre and Highbury Hall. She has also played for the Randolph and Eastgate Hotels in Oxford, Harry's Bar in Singapore, and also further a field.

Sara's career has involved two residencies on P&O ships. She has given solo classical recitals in venues including Southwark Cathedral in London and the Barber Institute of Fine Arts in Birmingham. Her classical trio has performed at Hartwell House, Aylesbury, and Middlethorpe Hall in York. In 2000, Sara performed Scriabin's Piano Concerto with Oxford Studio Orchestra. While living in London, she has studies with Jeremy Brown, Stephen Kovacevich and Hilary Coates.

In 2003, she continued in further postgraduate study at Trinity College of Music, London, and recital performances at Southwark Cathedral and the National Portrait Gallery.

CLIENT COMMENT

Just a brief note to say thank you, and to ask that you pass our thanks on to both Madison and Sara, for helping to make our event the great success that it was.

Their flexibility during the evening was greatly appreciated. Everybody thoroughly enjoyed the music throughout the evening and I've heard nothing but high praise for all the artists involved.

My thanks again.

Kind regards,

Catherine
