Axel forms part of the three dynamic versatile DJs on our books who play anything from commercial pop to contemporary cool. He offers event organisers the opportunity to have a cool alternative DJ. He will create the ideal club night for the 20s to 30s with his brand of dance  music influenced by deep house grooves and   drum n' bass.

In late 93 JUNKUHN aka Axel had a groundbreaking experience after years of clubbing after listening to JEFF MILLS in the Berliner Tresor who mixed on 3 decks, a keybord and a 909. JUNKUHN straight away got on the decks himself and started mixing the funky side of Techno influenced by Acid House.

In late 94 he met DJ DANIJEL ALPHA (Stockholm) + JUNKUHN became resident at his club 1200 where he played alongside DJ's such as BJOERN TORSKE (Norway) and ADAM BEYER (Stockholm). After one year residency, he played in various clubs and parties across Germany.

Later he became resident at the TBC Berlin and part of an project run by DIMITRI HEGEMAN (Owner of the Tresor Berlin) called "Tagesangebot". This was followed by several outdoor events like the Wittwien festival.

JUNKUHN's music style became more and more influenced by deep house grooves and drum n' bass. Merging his influences by playing and mixing deep house, funky techno and breaks in his sets (with extraordinary mixing skills, including 3 deck mayhem and 10hrs marathon sets!) He played the 96 and 97 'Loveparade' Berlin and also in 98 alongside DJ SNEAK and GENE FARRIS.

In 99 he decided to move to London. After setting up his own studio, in 2000 he met DJ and Producer Tyrrell (Interfearence).  JUNKUHN is currently a guest DJ at FAMILY London and is working on his own Techhouse and Breakbeat Productions.
