Bright Sparks
are a professional functions, party and covers band, with a
reputation for high energy, up-tempo entertainment. Based in London,
Bright Sparks are specialists in providing exactly what is
required for your event.
The versatility of the band has been proved time and again as they
have played at events as varied as corporate shows, company balls,
weddings, birthday parties (from ages 18 - 60!), universities, ski
resort opening nights, and nightclub parties.
It's not unheard of for the band to play an intimate afternoon
acoustic show for a quiet garden party, and then carry on to play a
storming rock set to a packed out club room

later on that evening. This band really can put on an unforgettable
show in any situation. The overwhelming response is that of delight
at the way the dancefloor is filled from start to finish by the
energy, enthusiasm and skill of the band. The most consistent remark
the band receives is that clients have never seen so many people up
and dancing at a live show. When this is combined with the stunning
sound of the band, tight vocal harmonies, the professional look and
a repertoire that has never failed, its easy to see why Bright
Sparks have caused such a stir at every show they've played. |

The band play a wide range of music from the early 60's to current
hits, delivering stunning renditions of music from Artists as
diverse as The Beatles, Queen, Elvis Presley, The Clash, The Beach
Boys, Stevie Wonder, Simon and Garfunkel, The Rolling Stones, Van
Morrison, Coldplay, Robbie Williams, The Darkness etc....
This makes
the band perfect for weddings and parties of all kinds where a wide
range of music is required to satisfy differing age groups and
musical tastes.
The band plays as either a four or five piece band and everything is
played live. Bright Sparks do not use backing or sequencing,
believing that a live performance is essential to give the
flexibility that makes for a great night's entertainment.

Bright Sparks
will take the time to discuss the requirements you have for your
event to make sure that everything goes perfectly on the night. They
dress appropriately for each occasion and are equally at home
playing for the most private party in a Country House as playing for
a Freshers Ball. They provide their own high quality sound and
lighting systems, and will provide music on CD in the breaks. The
band usually perform within a period of three hours however playing
times/sets etc. can be negotiable. |

Thank you very much indeed for
providing such a first-class performance at the party. Our
client commented on what a mindblowing performance it was and
how it really did set the tone for the event. We were
particularly impressed by how you combined professionalism with
talent - something that is very hard to find in a band - and for
this reason we will definitely be in touch with more bookings in
the very near future. |

Bloody good group,
fantastic players, excellent to dance to, great to
listen to. Their music at our party was appreciated
by young and old. We can't recommend them highly
enough. |

‘During my time
as entertainments officer I booked the Bright Sparks for the
University Freshers Ball, and was hugely impressed with the
professional and extremely entertaining show they put on. The
playing and singing is of the highest quality, and the band
really know how to entertain. They played in an area of the
venue which had been fairly empty until they took to the stage,
however, by the time they finished their set the venue was
packed and the crowd were shouting for more.’

‘The Bright
Sparks performed at the Area 51 Christmas party this year and
played their excellent set to a crowd of several
hundred. I can happily say that they are one of the best bands
we’ve ever had at the venue – their set is full of energy and
fun, and never fails to keep the audience dancing and singing
along from start to finish. I cannot recommend them highly
enough – we would book them every week if we could!’

The band were
quite excellent and I would have no trouble recommending them or
using them again. Although I thanked them at the time please
pass on our appreciation as they really did make the evening.
The dance floor was packed from the end of the first dance to
the end of the evening and it was filled with young, old and
infirm overcoming their inhibitions and arthritis to dance like
maniacs. I’ve already had several enquiries from our parents’
friends who are hoping to marry their daughters off soon!

Dear Bright Sparks, |
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
I'd like to thank you for all the hard work you guys put into
making our evening reception run so well. You put on a really
professional performance and I especially appreciate how
flexible you were regarding extending the play list to
incorporate my random music tastes. Helen had no idea about my
choice for first dance and although she killed me for organising
it she thought your take on the song was fantastic. In fact we
have heard nothing but good comments about you and I've already
passed on your details to some friends who are organising their
wedding for next summer.
Wishing you all the best for your future.
Tom and Helen
