Cezar
began his career in dance at the age of 13 when his great passions
were break dance and salsa. Under international teachers tutorial he
studied ballet, Latin American and European dances, music and drama
at the School of Fine Arts of Cali, (Incolballet-Dance school) 1981-
1987. He started teaching folk dances when he was only 16. He also
studied Contemporary, Modern, Tap, Jazz, Tango and choreography in
Cali and Bogotá-Colombia.
Cezar has founded and directed Danza Experimental de Cali (DECA) in
1990 when he starts teaching and directing, developing international
exchange programmes with dance companies in Latin America and Europe
since 1998. He was dancer choreographer and Artistic Director of
Maria Sanford Dance Scholl (1993- 1996). His works as choreographer
and director included among others: Revistango & Calidanza
(1992), Danza Collage (1997), Roots-Danza Colombia (UK artistic tour
1998) Remembrances (2000) and Salsa Roots (2005). He also
participated in videos, TV advertising and as choreographer of Grupo
Niche 1991-92.
He
starts learning tango in 1992 and he starts teaching it since 10
years ago. He has been teaching and performing tango with his
partner Carolina Gonzalez around UK in the last 5 years and he is
regularly invited to teach and develop artistic projects abroad. |

Caroline studied folk dance and ballet since she was a child and
when she already used to dance salsa, in Colombia . She has also
studied contemporary dance and gymnastics in Holland. At the time
that she studied administration and accounting, she continued
studying Jazz and contemporary dance 1995-2000.
Caroline
has been a dancer in Danza
Experimental de Cali (DECA) from 1996 to 2000 and co-directed an
established Tango school in Cali-Colombia where she created and
co-directed with Cesar the dance piece "Remembrances", where was
involved 40 artists among dancers and musicians.
She came to London in 2000 and since then has been working as tango
and contemporary dancer with artLAT and Tiempo de Tango
show and she has been also teaching and performing with Cesar around
UK and Europe. She also designed the costumes for Tiempo de Tango
2004. She has been focused in Tango dance since the last 10 years,
learning, teaching and performing.
