Being and entertainer
was unavoidable for Kevin. His father was a singer/pianist, his
mother a 1950's model and members of his family appeared in films
alongside the likes of Richard Burton, Peter Sellers, Michael Caine
and David Niven.
It was from around the
age of five that Kevin first discovered 'the American song book'.
Singing Pennies from Heaven accompanied by his father, who's
constant renditions of Gershwin, Porter and Berlin were to leave an
irreversible impression.
By his early twenty's,
Kevin found himself in the company of and performing with other like
minded aficionado's. Their profound knowledge and musicianship
helped forward his studies. These included the likes of American
saxophonist Spike Robinson, John Crithinson (piano accompanist with
Ronnie Scott), and bass player Lennie Bush, who sessioned on Frank
Sinatra's album ' Great Songs from Great Britain'.

Kevin has performed at
a huge variety of venues, ranging from top London Hotels (i.e The
Savoy, Dorchester etc.), The Institute of Director's, The Variety
Club of Great Britain, many corporate events (large and small), jazz
clubs, weddings, stately homes, large hotel groups (UK and
overseas), Southend Airshow and even at a primiership football match
@ Southhamptons's ground St. Mary's.
With his immense stage
presence. Kevin delivers his tribute in a sophisticated manner the
great Sinatra deserves. He proves, without question, that when you
possess the same impressive vocal ability as Sinatra, being an exact
'lookalike' is not needed to recreate Sinatra in his vocal prime and
mature years. He performs effortlessly not only the less challenging
songs but also the more vocally difficult. In his act he uses only
the best quality live recordings of American big band arrangements
or can be backed by anything from a piano to a full piece big band.
The result of all this being a truly memorable experience. |

Sorry its taken so
long for me to get back to you but I just wanted to say what a
fantastic singer Kevin is as Frank Sinatra he made my wedding day go
off superbley. People haven't stopped talking about it and with
kevin singing I achieved the atmosphere I was looking for. Everyone
thought he was fabulous so I can't thank him enough for making my
day!
|
| |
|
Please could you pass
on my thanks.
|
| |
|
Kind regards
|

Penny.

Kevin is an amazing guy in everyway:

“Take one special occasion, add over a hundred guests, sprinkle
a little light and some fine wine to taste. Once all of this has
been thoroughly mixed, slowly include your Frank Sinatra and you
will find you have the perfect night.
|
| |
|
Kevin (from here on known as Frank) was the epitome of
professional entertainment going so far as to allow the groom to
sing along with him.
|
| |
|
When I first saw Frank enter the room I was a little
apprehensive as he was dressed as the young Frank, this
assumption was dashed by his choice of songs. They not only
enhanced a time we shall never forget but reflected in our
opinion the great style and uniqueness that was Frank.
|
| |
|
In a sentence, I want this man at our birthdays, weddings,
christenings, Christmas…….. I think you get the picture
|
| |
|
It only leaves me to thank Frank for being with us. Thank you
Frank (Kevin)”
|
| |
|
We are pretty sure he will have future bookings from our
friends.
|
|
|
|
Thanks so much.

"I would like to
take this opportunity to say a massive thank you to Kevin.
He was absolutely fantastic! He exceeded our wildest dreams
and each and every one of our guests commented on the
quality of the performance. Kevin managed to get everyone
dancing and it created a magical atmosphere that's hard to
put into words. It was a "broadway" performance that truly
deserves praise and thanks. Thank you for enhancing and
completing the most special day of our lives, and whenever
the next family event comes along he will definitely be at
the top of our list!"

"Kevin is the
best act we have ever booked." - Beverley Sidnell, City

“There is much more to
being a tribute act than the right make-up and costume, as is
proved by the marvelous Kevin Fitzsimmons. His Sinatra relies
ostensibly on a remarkably astute vocal tribute. With a
perfectly natural timbre to his voice he immediately conjures up
Old Blue Eyes in his glory years. His choices for the afternoon
were impeccable, offering the audience a glimpse at Sinatra the
lounge singer, with the familiar Witchcraft to open, I’ve Got
The World On A String and closing with the louche, almost
melancholy One For My Baby”.
