Giant is the brainchild of Sean Mitchell. The ensemble began life purely to meet demand for Gospel music as requested by visitors to www.musicforlondon.co.uk. The group would would expand or contract depending on the need. One day Giant would be a 24 piece Choir singing O Happy Day at an IKON sales conference, then Giant would become an octet for a Saatchi TV commercial or a 4 piece band and with quartet for a wedding ceremony. |

The core group is made up of some extraordinary vocalists and mad scientist musicians coming mainly from Gospel churches in and around London. They are either professional or semi-professional and in the pursuit of excellence, devote many hours individually and collectively each week to become master artisans. |

Giant began working in earnest in the summer of 2004 making by providing live performances at sales and marketing presentations. 2005 has seen there popularity grow immensely with already 30 plus engagements booked for 2005 and the diary for 2006 already promises to be twice as busy. |

They like new experiences and new challenges. Committed Christians, they believe that sharing their faith means sharing their lives. They work, play and live hard. Determined to take as much from life as God will give them and then equally determined to give back more than they were given. This is immediately apparent in the music they make. As you listen, you will find yourself immersed in their passion, lifted by their joy finally to stand with them to sing of hope and peace and freedom and healing and love. |

Together they live up to their name. Carrying big hearts in their chests, with big ambitions on their mind and taking big steps into the future – They are Giant |

Client Comments
Thank you for making this happen and can you please thank the choir for their wonderful singing on Tuesday evening. I had many comments from the people who attended that they thought the same, and I'm hoping that we'll be able to engage them again in the future.
Many thanks and best wishes,
Jenny Quillinan

BT Group Marketing and BrandI hope you had a good weekend. I just wanted to let you know that Giant we absolutely superb at my clients event on Saturday 24 November 2007. They put on an amazing performance and Sherina White together with the choir was an absolute pleasure to work with. Sherina was extremely professional and if at all possible I would like to request that we work with the same singers again on Saturday 15 December 2007 at The Dorchester.
Thank you as well Titus for all your help and assistance, much appreciated.
I look forward to speaking with you soon.
Kind regards,
Jamie
Dear Giant Gospel Choir, We'd like to say a huge thank you for singing at our wedding. You were absolutely amazing and all the guests were really impressed. My only regret is that I didn't really get to listen to you properly as I was so busy! But we do have some of the songs on DVD. You really did make our day. So thank you very much. Gemma and Joe
Our wedding 26th august in Kidderminster. Just wanted to say a huge thank you and if you could pass on once again my thanks to the guys who came down for the evening. Both me and Rebecca found the music and in particular the singing and delivery amazing. We had a fantastic day overall and that added the extra wow factor so I am very pleased we finally booked you. Once again many thanks and I look forward to booking the group again in the near future.

The choir were magnificent and Maxine and Dean were absolutely delighted. It was a huge surprise to them and Maxine burst into tears when she came out of the ceremony and there they were singing Oh Happy Day! Fantastic reaction and I'm sure it will be on the video! It was a magical day and Kelly and her colleagues performed superbly, I am so glad we had them at the wedding, it was perfect. They have the most fantastic voices, so clear. It was all very emotional!
Thank you again and I will most certainly be telling everyone I know what a superb choir they are and how very glad we booked them - they made our day.
Thanks again.

Dear Sean
I would just like to drop a short line, in order to thank the London Giant Choir for making my day the best I could ever dream of. I got married on the 29th December in Lenham, Kent and Curtis and 7 singers from the choir sang for us. It was amazing and so moving. I just wish that I had been in the audience so that I could enjoy what was really going on. I have had so many people ask where the choir came from and how much, and I believe you may get a fare few jobs from this. I have also had many people if they could buy your CD. I said that I didn't know whether you have one but if you do please let me know.
Please would you thank Curtis and the girls and boys so much for making me have such a fantastic memory of the day. I didn't get a chance to speak to them or meet them too much going on, but I do want them to all know that I really appreciated the time and effort they had put in.

Dear Sean, Andrea & Rowan
I just wanted to say a 'BIG THANK YOU' for making our day soo special. You guys were great, we couldn't of asked for better, it was just what I wanted.
You're singing was absolutely brilliant....we'll have to have you come to all our parties! But not just that, you're whole approach to the service and us just went perfectly with Zac's day, thank you.
Until the next time...take care
Regards

Hi Sean
My apologies first of all for the delay in replying
No excuses really - just the usual manic - ness of a busy office.
I think it completely goes without saying that it DID work extremely well for us on the day of our event. Rave reviews all round - excepting perhaps some of the Welsh and Scots contingent who were suffering from a little Nationalism in light of our song choice!
However - performance wise - I think they soon forgot their problem and raved along with the rest of us
Many thanks also for the spur of the moment performance of "Oh Happy Day" - which I know we kind of sprung on you - but was professionally and brilliant executed - so thanks again for that.

Hi Sean,
Just a quick note to say thanks to you and all the other choir members for all your hard work. The event was really successful and the choir provided the perfect ice-breaker.
As discussed can you please send through a copy of the CD and if you could email it through that would be great too.

“There is no music like that music, no drama like the drama of the saints rejoicing, the sinners moaning, the tambourines racing, and all those voices coming together and crying holy unto the Lord. There is still, for me, no pathos quite like the pathos of those multi-coloured, worn, somehow triumphant and transfigured faces, speaking from the depths of a visible, tangible, continuing despair, of the goodness of the Lord.
I have never seen anything to equal the fire and excitement that sometimes, without warning, fills a church, causing the church (as Leadbelly and so many others have testified) to ‘rock’. Nothing that has happened to me since, equals the power and the glory that I sometimes felt when, in the middle of a sermon, I knew that I was somehow, by some miracle, really carrying, as they said, ‘the Word’ – when the church and I were one. Their pain and their joy were mine, and mine were theirs. They surrendered their pain and joy to me, I surrendered mine to them – and their cries of ‘Amen’ and ‘Hallelujah’ and ‘Yes Lord’ and ‘Praise His name!’ and ‘Preach it brother!’ sustained and whipped on by solos until we all became equal, wringing wet, singing and dancing, in anguish and rejoicing, at the foot of the altar.”
