Groover are a dynamic young professional 6-piece band guaranteed to wow you with a night of serious ear-candy! With an explosive mix of classic soul, funk, pop, rock, disco, rock n' roll & jazz, they pride themselves on creating a sizzingly hot atmosphere whatever the temperature outside.
Definitely not your average 'stand there and play' function band, this group clearly love what they're doing & their enjoyment is infectiously fun and funky. Time again again clients rave over their boundless energy & enthusiasm which is more infectious than measles! You'll find you have burned off 2 chocolate eclairs by the end of the first number!That's not to say they can't tone it down if you want something a little more low-key, mellow or sophisticated. They will tailor the performance & music to your liking.
From a high octane party band to a themed night in costumes or jazz background, funky chill-out or soloists for an intimate ambience.As well as the famously funky party band, Groover can also slip into something crazy if your event has a speical theme. Whether it be a flare-fest from the 70s, or shouting Aloha! in a beach party theme in grass skirts & leis, donning a naughty school-girl uniform to whisk you into a skool-daze, or maybe Austin Powers, Superheros, Hollywood movies or Gangsters & Molls - their dressing up box is enough to turn kiddies green with envy.
They can even provide a set of 'Live Karaoke' if you and guests fancy swapping a hairbrush in front of the mirror for a real mic and a real band! They'll provide the lyrics and hollers of encouragement!

Terri (and Emily), Gill and I wanted to say a huge thank you to you and the guys for providing such a brilliant performance at our silver wedding and batmitzvah party on Saturday. So many people came up to us during and after the party and commented on how fantastic Groover were - to dance to and also just to listen to. We did our best to make life difficult for you by blowing the mains fuse ten minutes into the party but you weren't fazed and fortunately we were able to get the power back in time for your first set. Everyone loved the sound - the tight funky soul was just the right groove for the wide age range at the party and you just had to get up and dance. Even my elderly parents danced!
