Manifesto is a neo-folk band with a political and social conscience. It is composed of five like minded individuals celebrating their diversity in a world seemingly obsessed with conformity….ever more homogeneous.

These four Italian musicians and their American coauthor-singer, Lisa, are writing music with a message.

Songs like “future” contenplate the big question”how will the soapopera of humanity play itself out?” and insist that we be participants in this drama rather than resigning ourselves to the role of observer.

Impossible to miss that they are inspired by artists like B. Dylan, J. Mitchell, W. Guthrie, J. Taylor as well as A. Difranco, they nevertheless have achieved a groove unique to themselves, with a back to basics, natural sound produced by talented inspired musicians which blends seamlessy with the poignant, passionate lyrics.
