Nezebah, "Jazz with a difference". A cool blend of jazz lounge and chillout to create a sophisticated atmosphere (mainly instrumental) comprised of a 4 piece or a 5 piece with a scratch DJ added. Lead by Mike Allen who plays African percussion and sings, there are ambient keyboards, double bass and a saxophonist against a stripped down backing track with sound effects, cool hip hop beats and drum loops. There are some jazz standards in the set, reworked in the Nezebah style, and with the added scratch DJ, you have a sonic chill feast.
