Claire is a highly experienced London based pianist with a music degree from Birmingham University, a postgraduate diploma from the Guildhall School of Music and Drama and a Licentiate of the Royal Schools of Music. During her studies, she received awards from the Lawrence Atwell's charity, MJ West Memorial Fund and the EB Wrightson's Charitable Trust. Claire is a talented cocktail pianist and was resident at the Basil Street Hotel, Knightsbridge for five years. She is now resident at the newly opened five star Luton Hoo Hotel in Hertfordshire. Claire has been invited to play on several Swan Hellenic cruise ships, which have seen her tour South America, Italy, Turkey, Greece, South Africa and the Caribbean. She has a broad range of styles. Whilst on board, Claire performed recitals with her classical trio, and also accompanied shows for the Shakespeare Revue Company, using lighter repertoire. Claire enjoys regular work performing at weddings and a variety of functions. In 2006 she performed with the Emnica Duo at the Albert Hall Café Consort as part of their Ignite Series of concerts. On the more classical side, as a soloist, Claire has recorded the compositions and publications of Charles Seaton, which have led to several radio three broadcasts. Her performances have seen her giving recitals for the Schubert Society of Great Britain (2006) Balliol College, Oxford (2007) and St Martins in the Fields (2005). In the same year her duo reached the semi finals of the Landor Records competition. Other performances include; the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, Liverpool University, Southwark Cathedral, Burgh House and St James, Piccadilly. Claire has travelled to Siena to work as a repetiteur and is in demand as a freelance accompanist.
