She handles stylistic changes of great singers with aplomb. She demonstrates a gift for melody, a deep understanding of tonal textures and an ability to react musically to literary material. She is a gifted as well as a prolific singer.
Claire Louise Hawkins, has been singing in world renowned venues since the age of 10 as soloist and as part of several Internationally acclaimed Choirs.
Her first major award was when she won the Grand Prize in singing at Gibraltar's National Talent Competition in 1996. She has gone from strength to strength since then.
She performed solo for the Queen's Jubilee at the Gibraltar St. Michael's Cave Auditorium on the 27th of June 2002 with Maestro Karel Chichon with the Russian Philharmonic Orchestra.
Lately she performed the role of the Kit Kat Girl In the Musical Cabaret at Greenwich Theatre, London. In March she performed the role of Dusy In the musical of Sweeney Agonisties at the Albany Theatre, London.
Another notable performance is when she performed solo in the world premier of the Musical production of Robin Hood. She has also made several TV appearances in Europe.
