Her passion and emotive control  always leaves a lasting impression on her listeners. She sings with perfect clarity, tone, pitch and a great deal of emotion.  Audiences find her voice very appealing. It is stunning and the range of material she covers creates a truly interesting and captivating listen. She paints a picture of vivid and movingly expressive colour that can only be seen in a dream

Patrizia  was born in Barcelona, Spain, and began her musical studies as a pianist and singer with Joana Maria Bañeres.  She studied at the Conservatori Superior de Musica del Liceu de Barcelona. 

Patrizia combined her musical studies while studying Law at the Universitat de Barcelona. She was a member of the Cor de Cambra del Liceu  and the Orfeó Català where she sang for four years. 

In August of 2000 Patrizia sang the role of Mercedes from Carmen, with the Amadeus Opera Company conducted by Edward Boronkiev, which took place in St.Génis des Fontaines, France.  Through her musical career she has sung in opera and as a recitalist  in such places as Palau de la Musica, Teatre Principal and the Gran Teatre de Liceu. 

In September 2000 Patrizia Contini was the Grand Prize Winner of the Festival de Jóvenes Musicos de Barcelona (Youth Festival of Barcelona) that granted her to a scholarship and a tour of Japan in the summer of 2001. 

Patrizia is presently completing her Masters Degree at Trinity College of Music where she studies with Peter Knapp.
