A string quartet will add elegance to any wedding ceremony, cocktail party, or event. A string quartet consists of 2 violins, a viola, and a cello. Variations of this include a "string trio" featuring one violin, a viola and a cello, or a "piano quartet" made up of a piano, a violin, a viola and a cello. Other terms used to describe string quartets are "string ensembles", "chamber ensembles", "chamber music", and "classical ensembles". Some of the most well known pieces you might hear a string quartet play at a wedding or private party are "Canon In D" by Johann Pachelbel, "Air On the G String" by Johann Sebastian Bach, and excerpts from "The Four Seasons" by Antonio Vivaldi
