Veleka Jazz Duo, Trio, Quartet, Quintet

 

Veleka has worked as a professional musician for the past 10 years. She studied jazz saxophone for two years at the Western Australian Conservatorium of music. After her studies she worked extensively as a freelance saxophonist in a variety of bands. Some of her engagements included the York Jazz festival and Perth Jazz society. Veleka has also extended her talents to composing. She worked with a variety of theatre companies in Perth and was employed as The Musical Director for the Perth Theatre Company. It was during this time that Veleka discovered a love and talent for singing. Veleka offers the unique combination of vocals and saxophone. The repertoire consists of bossa novas, swing standards and blues. Veleka is currently working with some of London’s finest Jazz musicians. She can offer you the choice of a duo, trio or quartet, what ever suits your needs.
