At Trinity College Jon has studied under the renowned British saxophonists Julian Arguelles, Russell Van Den Berg and Mark Lockheart and plays lead alto in the Trinity College Big Band conducted by Bobby Lamb, symphonic composer and trombonist for Woody Herman, Stan Kenton, Frank Sinatra and Dizzy Gillespie.
