Fairer Winds is a professional trio of Flute, Clarinet and bassoon. As a trio they have performed for many prestigious events. Some of their venues include events for Thames Trips, the National portait Gallery, Skinners Hall, the Birmingham Bullring, and Toni and Guy.

The Fairer Winds are graduates of the UK’s Music Conservatoires, and have performed with major orchestras, such as the Royal Philharmonic, BBC Symphony, Royal Opera House, BBC National Orchestra of Wales, English National Opera and the Northern Sinfonia. The trio perform regularly at occasions such as weddings, banquets, corporate events, receptions and family parties, with a wide repertoire including classical works as well as jazz, swing, old time classics and pop. Special arrangements can also be scored on request.

Jo Cackett (Bassoon) Jo studied at the RNCM from 1995 - 1999 with Alan Pendlebury and Ed Warren and at the Guildhall School of Music from 1999 - 2000 with Merrick Alexander and Robin O'Neill. Jo freelances regularly with the RLPO, Bournemouth Symphony, BBC Philharmonic and BBC Concert Orchestras. She performed as guest principal bassoon with the Britten Sinfonia at the 2003 Proms.

Rebecca Larsen (Flute) Rebecca studied as a postgraduate at the RAM from 1994-96 with Sebastian Bell. She gave her Park Lane debut in 1998 and has since gone on to further her orchestral career. Rebecca has trialed as principal piccolo with the Royal Opera House, BBC Symphony, BBC National Orchestra of Wales and BBC Philharmonic Orchestras and has performed as guest principal flute with the London Mozart Players, English National Ballet and the Guildford Philharmonic

Julia Russell (Clarinet) Julia studied at the RNCM from 1989-92 and then as a postgraduate at the RCM from 1992-93 with Michael Collins and Richard Hosford. She won the Yamaha Kemble Wind Scholarship and broadcast on Radio 2. Julia has trialed with the BBC Symphony, Northern Ballet and Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestras and freelances regularly with ENO, WNO, BBC National Orchestra of Wales and the Bournemouth Symphony.
